Terry Madas

Assistant Branch Manager
Montrose Office

Meet Terry Madas. Terry is the Assistant Branch Manager at our Montrose Office and has been with the bank for 17 years. Terry has been serving as a Board Member of Care Net Pregnancy Center of NEPA for four years. Please continue to read as Terry describes her service and the many programs offered by Care Net Pregnancy Center of NEPA.

"Care Net Pregnancy Center of NEPA is a resource center that has been in existence and serving families in Northeast Pennsylvania since 1986. It was originally founded as a Crisis Pregnancy Center in Montrose, PA to offer men and women a place to go for information, assistance and encouragement. In 2000, the center joined the national organization of Care Net, thus taking its current name.

Care Net of NEPA now serves from three locations: Montrose, Tunkhannock and Forest City. All three centers operate and serve within themselves. Each is equipped with well trained staff and volunteers who seek to serve in a loving and compassionate way to those men and women facing not only crisis, but pregnancy support, parent training, pregnancy tests, fatherhood support and more. At Care Net of NEPA you are not alone. You matter. Clients are treated with kindness, compassion and respect and will receive honest and straightforward answers in complete confidence. The centers are each equipped with a Baby Boutique with new and lightly used baby items such as clothing, diapers, formula, cribs, strollers, car seats, and much more. We also offer educational courses for our school districts.
One very special service we offer the community is at the Harford Fair. We have a tent set up offering a clean area with changing tables, rocking chairs and bottled water. This space offers parents privacy to change their and feed their babies. Our employees, volunteers and Board members staff this tent during the week of the fair.

Care Net of NEPA is a non-profit resource center funded and staffed by people and donations from the communities in which they exist. The center is autonomous and all donations remain in NEPA. It is important to know that all our services are free of charge.

Having served on the Board for four years and a supporter for over 20 years, it is such a blessing to know lives are being changed through Care Net and our staff. I love hearing client testimonials such as:  "I came to Care Net for one simple pregnancy test; I had no idea that I would gain a whole support system." Care Net is a well-rounded support ministry. We seek to support young moms and dads throughout their pregnancies and parenting as well as providing baby items for many years. I am a proud member of the Board for Care Net Pregnancy Center of NEPA."
